Academic integrity focuses on what a learner knows, can do, and can explain. In an AI-supported task, that means making the permitted role of the tool visible and designing opportunities for students to show their process and understanding.
A strong response is instructional, not only punitive. It combines clear assignment boundaries, appropriate assessment design, conversation with students, and equitable access to support.
